By the fifth week, expect your baby to settle into a feeding routine:
Feeding six to eight times a day
Taking in two to five ounces at each feeding
Nursing five to 10 minutes on each breast (your milk supply is most likely established by now)
Your baby is feeding well if she is:
Wetting around six diapers each day
Growing and gaining weight
TIP If your baby is suddenly feeding more often, she may be going through a growth spurt, which usually happens at around six weeks of age.
