  • Naming a baby is a huge and exciting decision for parents. As it will be a part of his identity, moms and dads won't just want a unique baby name, they'd also take several factors into consideration.

    Does it sound smart? How will they spell it? Does it mean future success? That's right, there have been studies that say particular names are “more successful” than others.

    Baby names that spell success in the future

    Last June, kids brand Finn + Emma conducted a survey and compared the most popular names for boys and girls in 2021 with individuals who have the same name. Using a salary tool, they were able to point out which names were more financially successful than the rest.

    Of course, the survey should be taken with a grain of salt. But if you're curious and looking for a baby name for your future heir, here are the top 10 names they believe will grow up to be boss babies:


    Successful baby boy names


    Average annual salary: $69, 539 or Php3.5 million

    Traditionally an American surname, Mason became popular as a surname when Kourtney Kardashian named her first son Mason Dash Disick in 2009. It means “stoneworker,” so it could be a perfect name for builders (architects, engineers, and entrepreneurs, maybe?) in the future!


    Average annual salary: $68,068 or Php3.4 million

    Hudson was originally a surname, too! It is British in origin and means “Hugh’s son” or “son of Hudde,” believed to represent power and creativity.

    If you’re a fan of the TV show Grey’s Anatomy, you would know Dr. Addison Montgomery! It also means “son of Adam,” but thanks to its popularity, it is now accepted as a girl’s name, too. Could naming your baby girl mean she can be a future doctor?

    In Roman mythology, Luna was the goddess of the moon — a brave and independent spirit. Its meaning clearly shows the limitless possibilities of success! Fun fact, it's also the name Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo chose for their youngest daughter.


    Average annual salary: $49,852 or Php2.5 million

    Consider this name if you want your daughter to have a connection with nature. It is a pretty, long tree with leaves that are “slender” and “graceful” and stands out in a field. Any parent would love their child to stand out!

    Lily is a flower that symbolizes purity and innocence. Among other flower names, like Rose, Violet, and Daisy, Lily is the most popular choice! It's a perfect name for a girl who will be successful in the future — simple, pure, and down-to-earth.
