  • Motherhood has been a walk in the park so far for Pauleen Luna.

The Eat Bulaga! regular gave birth to her first daughter, Tali, on November 6, 2017.

Even though her delivery came a month earlier than her expected due date, and via emergency C-section, Pauleen still described the entire process as easy.

She told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), “Honestly, my whole pregnancy was a breeze.

“Though I gave birth a month early, medyo premature siya, hindi ako nahirapan.

“Nag-CS ako, do’n din hindi ako nahirapan.

“Taking care of her, hindi ako nahirapan.

“Natatakot ako na baka sa second ako bawian! But, so far, I’d do it all over again.”

PEP.ph met with Pauleen at the art exhibit of Vic Sotto’s daughter, Paulina Sotto, last March 7, at Rustan’s Makati.

Even though Pauleen has only been a mom for four months, the Kapuso star already finds motherhood so fulfilling.

    She said, “Napakasarap ng feeling!

“Hindi OA yung sinasabi nila [na] best job in the world. It’s really true, kasi I don’t think any amount will do, e, na bayad sa akin.

“Ano siya, e, walang rate sa pagiging mommy.

“Isang smile lang, parang, yun na yung pinakamahal na talent fee na nakuha ko.”

Pauleen considers herself and her husband, Vic, lucky that their Baby Tali has been such an easy baby.

“Sobrang bait, very easy. Doesn’t cry at all!

“Now, she’s starting to sleep through the night. So, kunwari matulog siya around 10 P.M., magigising siya mga 6 A.M.

    “So, happy baby, happy mommy.”

Would the actress-host consider leaving showbiz to be a full-time mom?

Pauleen responded, “No, I don’t think so.

“Hindi naman siguro, just because it’s showbiz or what, but I have to do something kasi I think I still need to preoccupy myself.

“Kasi sanay ako, e, ever since talaga nagtatrabaho ako…

“But hindi naman soon [balik trabaho]. I believe that my baby needs a lot of attention, and I don’t want to miss yung mga little milestones, moments.

“Ngayon nga lang, nagkaka-separation anxiety na ako!”

Would they be giving Tali a sibling anytime soon?

“Honestly, magkaroon pa ng isa lang.

“Kasi sina Ate at Kuya niya malalaki na, e. Para lang may kasama siya growing up, okay na ako.”

Pauleen only has simple prayers for her firstborn as she watches her grow up.

The mother of one said, “She can be whatever she wants to be.

“I pray that she will be kind and generous and I pray that she’ll be respectful and obedient. Yun lang naman yung mga basic na kailangan, but she can be whatever she wants to be.

“I’ll support her all the way.”
