Meet David Motola, whom you can find on YouTube as the Bearded Man. His bio reads: “A guy, a beard, and a piano.” We’d like to add another title: baby whisperer. In the caption for the video above, Motola said his son Samuel was having a difficult time sleeping because of an ear ache. So he decided to play his own arrangement on the spot of a favorite tune, the classic "Brahms Lullaby," to see if it will help his baby fall asleep. And guess what? Samuel was yawning five seconds into the song and asleep in less than 20 seconds! Motola told Today Parents that Sam continued to sleep soundly throughout the remainder of the lullaby and slept for a full eight hours after being lulled to sleep by the song. We are pretty sure that made his wife relieved and happy. Motola’s YouTube video has had more than one 1.2 million views and went viral in social media (in the Facebook page of HuffPost Australia alone, it garnered more 78 million views). The response has prompted Motola to create an mp3 version of the song. The proceeds will go to a college fund for all his sons, Isaac, 4, Ezra, 2, and baby Samuel.
