It's likely you've heard about overparenting, but what's so bad about it? Overparenting, which is also called helicopter parenting, is being over protective of our kids. We pamper them by doing everything for them, so much so that sometimes they fail to learn the simplest tasks even when they are all grown-up.
As adults, children who were "overparented" may be overly entitled and lack important life skills, according to psychiatrist Dr. Marcia Sirota, which makes them less employable. Yikes!
