"They were already rehearsing a performance supposed to be for the parents.

"We improvised [the] stage, [the] back drop and [the] sound system," paliwanag ni mommy. "We asked his ninong to make a graduation hat. [He used] recycled illustration board and yarn."

Best In Running Away To Play

Best In Scribbling On Her Books

"Her books are full of scribbles!" pagbabahagi ni mommy sa amin sa pamamagitan ng isang Facebook Messenger interview. "Nasasagot niya ng tama ang mga activities [sa mga libro niya], but she loves to scribble on her books!"

Best In Where Is My Mommy and Gusto Ko Si Mommy

Ayon kay mommy, "I am her favorite person. She would always say I am the one [who] makes her happy.

"My first baby just finished her nursery and will now enter kindergarten. I got really sad that it was cancelled, thats why I planned a mini moving up rites at home," kwento ni mommy.

"Parents are always very excited and fond of being involved in their child's milestones—especially when it comes to their education and growth," pahayag ni mommy.

Sabi pa niya, "I was really brokenhearted. Kasi it means [we will not experience] another family activity or meaningful moment in my daughter's life." Dagdag pa niya, "I came up with the plan of doing the homebased moving up ceremomy. Better at home than not having a ceremony at all. We are just following the safety protocols as well as enjoying the options left for us. Also, [nanghinayang] din ako sa pinagawang costume for their class performance. So I planned and pushed for this "quarantine style" na moving up."

"With his creativity, we were able to do the backdrop kahit kurtina lang namin," sabi niya. "We always enjoy what we do for our daughter. My daughter danced and sang their community dance. Solo."

"As a mom and teacher by profession, I would not want to just let this moving up ceremony pass without doing an effort to make my little girl feel appreciated," kwento ni mommy.

"I want her to remember that she was able to finish her preschool kasi it was an abrupt cancellation of classes. The class were not given time to say goodbye to each other. I want my daughter to cherish memories of her growing up and this moving up is one of those great moments i dont want her to miss kahit sa bahay lang." Dagdag pa niya, "It is always important to be involved and do the effort for the holistic development of our child. We may just think that it is merely a "ceremony" but the impact of what we do for our child is immeasurable."
