  • Metro Manila is still under enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) until May 15, 2020, and there is no word yet if we'll transition to general community quarantine (GCQ) after that. If you need to replenish art and home office supplies, National Book Store is open!

This is important because art supplies, such as glue, paint, markers, etc. keep the kids busy (and creative!). Perhaps you're looking for your next page-turner or setting up a home business and in need of office supplies. Your trusty one-stop shop is accepting orders for pick-up or delivery.

There are three ways you can order from National Book Store

Depending on how urgent you need books and supplies from National Book Store, there are three ways you can order. These are:

Place an order on its website.

Cash on delivery is temporarily suspended to limit contact. Deliveries in Metro Manila done via the website may take seven to 15 days due to the limited couriers during the quarantine.

Text your order via its operational branches.

If you can't find what you need on National Book Store's website, you can also inquire and order via SMS. Just send a text message to the specific branches above. To facilitate faster processing, follow these procedures:

    1. Text the number assigned to your area or location. Include your name, items you’ll order, and quantity, plus your email address.
    2. Wait for confirmation on availability and price of the items you need. Once confirmed, send payment via bank transfer or through credit card payment (link to be sent via email).
    3. Once payment has been received, the customer will get a text message when they can have their orders picked up at the respective branches. They can also have their orders picked up by third party delivery services. Fee for third party couriers will be shouldered by the customer.

Preparing your order may take one to two days after payment and confirmation. You will receive a message informing you that your order is ready for pick up or delivery via third party couriers. You need to shoulder the delivery fee.

Place your orders via Lazada or Shopee.

National Book Store is also on Lazada (www.lazada.com.ph/shop/national-book-store) and Shopee (shopee.ph/nationalbookstoreonline). Delivery of orders is subject to Lazada and Shopee's timelines.

Aside from online purchasing art supplies, work supplies, and books, National Book Store is also offering free to download stay-at-home activities for kids’ continuous learning. You can find these on the official National Book Store website. If you want to learn new skills, the website also has free downloadable materials.
