Sulit Ang Pagbutingting Ni Daddy! See The Baby Furniture He MadeLaking tipid, according to mommy!by Kitty Elicay .
It seems the quarantine projects do not cease for our moms and dads! With more time on their hands this enhanced community quarantine (ECQ), members of our Smart Parenting Village continue to share their DIY adventures with us. From one dad building a wooden playhouse for his kids, we have another devoted father who built baby furniture using wood pallets!
Mom Khynsue Ibardolaza shares that their DIY project started even before the ECQ was implemented. Her husband, Michael Besiño, would ask for discarded wood pallets from the different warehouses located near his office, and every night he would come home with a few pieces.
When ECQ was declared, Khynsue shares that Michael was finally able to use the pallets he had in store. “Hindi ko ineexpect kung ano ang gagawin niya,” the mom of one says. “Every after lunch, sa taas po siya gagawa. Kasi hindi pa po gawa ang taas ng bahay namin — doon lang may space. Super appreciated [ko ito].”ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW

Khynsue shares that they will still sand the wood to smoothen it, especially the edges, and apply varnish. But her fellow SP Village moms are already loving the output. They’re even suggesting that they turn hubby’s talent into a business! And they’re also tagging their husbands to start their own projects! LOL.
“Nakakatuwa po na may hubby tayong ganito. Ginawa niyang libangan [ngayong] ECQ. Konting sipag lang po!” Khynsue shares.
