Bianca Gonzalez reacts to confessions from Smart Parenting Village moms
"I love my kids more than anything else in the world, but I have a confession," this was Bianca's opening line in the podcast episode titled, "Hey Mama, Yes, We're Going Crazy Too!" She revealed that whenever she gets home from work, she would stay in her car for a good 10 minutes so that she could have "quiet time" before going inside their house.
Ronna, who has three children aged 10, 7, and 3, confessed that she had a moment with her daughter right before the recording. She got real, and said, "Girl, even if you're recording a podcast on parenting, it doesn't mean that you have everything down pat all the time."
During the podcast, they discussed two very relatable confessions from moms who are members of the Smart Parenting Village, a Facebook community for parents. One mom expressed how she felt like she had lost her identity due to motherhood, while another mom shared her dilemma of whether to continue working or quit because of exhaustion.

Reflecting on their experiences as first-time moms, Ronna described the "fourth trimester," or the first year of parenting, as a period that would turn one's world upside down. She shared how at times, despite being grateful for the gift of life, she would question why motherhood is just so hard, especially when she was sleep-deprived and breastfeeding her child.

"In the day, you are okay, you are smiling, and you are enjoying your baby. But then there are those moments when you feel so alone and you feel like you're the only one going through this, especially pag puyat na puyat na talaga ako tapos I'm breastfeeding my baby," she shared.
Bianca shared an unforgettable moment as a breastfeeding mom that convinced her she wouldn't have a third child, saying, "I'm still so traumatized by that first year, hindi ko na kaya to go through it again."
Her story involved her frustration over spilled breast milk, and all the while, "Tulog na tulog ang asawa ko!" referring to JC Intal.
