Even if they end up doing silly things when asked to take care of the kids, we are happy to note that fathers are eager to step up and take over child care even without mom asking. They know when to prioritize family and when to set their pride aside if it’s for their kids. That’s a good thing, because though they might not know it, being a hands-on father provides lifelong benefits to their kids.
And that’s why we thought of paying tribute — a love letter, if you will — to all the tatays, dads, daddies, and papas out there. Our readers and members of our Facebook group Smart Parenting Village shared with us precious moments between fathers and their children, and so we thought that every father should know just what they mean to their kids.
