My husband is never tired.
As he once told me, quoting T'chala from the Black Panther, "I never freeze." I witnessed how my husband changed from that goody boy-next-door boyfriend, to a responsible family man.
He provides for our family's needs. He works hard in order to make both ends meet. He aces all the jobs assigned to him so that he could get all the incentives available. He travels despite the bad traffic in the metro, arrives 2 hours later, but still smiles when he enters our home.

And then he becomes a man of the household.
He helps me finish the chores so I could help more with our child's homework or so I could breastfeed our baby in peace.
He patiently watches the baby while I take a quick bath.
He lectures our child to instill good values in her and help her cope with her daily adventures.
He teaches her how to pray.
He gives up his precious sleep just to let me rest for a bit longer.
Most importantly, he makes sure he tells me that he loves how beautiful I am despite the mom-bod and the messy hair.
He keeps me sane whenever the stress of parenthood strikes me really hard.
He puts his wants aside just to make sure our family's needs are met. He never asked for more than he needed and he's always very grateful when I spoil him sometimes. He selflessly shares whatever he has.

He gets power-ups from my hugs and kisses, health potions from our children's laughter, and extra-life charge bonus from all of our love and affection.
He may not be the best dad in the universe, but he is the father that our kids need. He may not be the strongest man in the world, but he can carry the world, with all his might, so his family will not feel the weight. He may not be the most beautiful man alive, but he is the most beautiful person a wife could wish for.
Becoming a husband may have warmed his heart, but parenthood changed him for the better.
And that is why, even if my husband is never tired, I still take care of him, every time, in every way I can think of.
