Insecurities, fears and struggles are part of every mom’s parenting journey. Reflecting on not-so-good habits at the end of the year and thinking how they could be better should be our personal goal for the next year. It should be all about making changes and improving. So, here are 3 easy steps that you can follow in order to become a better mom in the year 2020:
1. Love yourself.
Taking care of yourself is a necessity. Find time to relax and do what it is you need to do in order to recharge: take a long shower, have a pampering day, or take a walk outside. Do not ever feel guilty about it, because you deserve all that.
Loving yourself also means valuing yourself. It is a nice thing for your kids to see that you are doing what you love and what you are good at. 3. Celebrate little things.
Big moments are fabulous and are easy to look forward to, but life is also full of little moments. They might be small but sometimes, this is where happiness and beauty lies. Letting your child help you in cooking, playing together, reading books at night, and eating your favorite snacks – times like these matter especially for working parents, who usually only have snippets of time with their children.
