Today, Father’s Day, we celebrate the men in our lives — our fathers and the dads of our children. But let us also recognize the efforts and sacrifices of all the single moms who are trying to be both a father and a mother. It takes courage and strength to raise kids on your own.

To all the moms who have lost their husbands
Your heart feels heavy with grief, but your kids need you more than ever. It will all get better in the coming days ahead, so hang in there!
Someone once said, “Being a single parent is twice the work, twice the stress, and twice the tears, but twice the hugs, twice the love, and twice the pride.”
To all the moms who chose to part ways with their husbands because of abuse
I know you feel the burden of responsibility. But you don’t need a man to be complete, and you are not alone. Remember, you are setting a good example for your kids.
To all the single moms who need to go to work
