Rodjun Cruz On Being A First-time Dad During The Pandemic: 'Lahat Magagawa Mo Para Sa Anak Mo'

Being a first-time dad can be quite challenging—imagine doing it during a pandemic. In an episode of Smart Parenting's Dibdibang Usapan, first-time celebrity dad Rodjun Cruz opens up about the challenges he encountered.

"Ang struggle ko talaga, 'yung safety ni baby," he said. "Noong pregnant pa lang si Dianne, 'yun na ang [worry] namin. Gusto namin talaga safe siya and protected."

He also talked about how challenging it is that they cannot be with the rest of their family. "Struggle din dahil kailangan kong mag-work," he added. He would isolate himself for four to seven days just so they're sure that baby Joaquin is protected.

"Ang hirap. Kasi kapag nag-work [ako] miss na miss ko na si baby Joaquin, gusto kong yakapin siya, pero para sa safety niya, sacrifice din talaga bago ko siya malapitan," he explained.

Rodjun did discover a lot of new things about himself and his wife Dianne. He also talked about the good that came out of being in lockdown with his family.
