<p><font size="2" face="arial,helvetica,sans-serif">How is your child's vision at 2-3 years old? </font></p>

Milestones for Ages 2 to 3

  • Able to inspect objects without needing to hold or touch them
  • Smile when they see their favorite objects and people
  • Like watching fast-moving objects: wheels, egg beater, toy trains, moving cars
  • Look at their own hands while scribbling
  • Watch and usually imitate what other kids are doing
  • Stare at pictures in books for longer periods, bringing their heads and eyes closer to the book while inspecting each page
  • Open and shut their eyes at will, may even be able to wink when prompted
