Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo are proud of their eldest daughter Yohan, who graduated from senior high school.
Ryan shared his signature black and white photos from Yohan's graduation today, June 6, with a short but sweet caption, "Oh My Little Buding."

The proud mama meanwhile penned a message on Instagram, "My dearest buding, we are so so proud of you. Your hard work and perseverance all throughout your HS life paid off and more. As you enter another chapter in your life as a college student, a lot will change. There will be a lot of ups and downs."

Juday's wish for her kids
In the cover story of Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP.ph) last May, Judy Ann revealed that her ultimate dream for her kids is for them to finish their studies.
"Alam mo, ang goal ko na lang talaga ngayon is makita kong maka-graduate lahat ng mga anak namin. Of course, I'm excited kung anong magiging profession nila when they become adults. Kasi achievement mo yun bilang magulang na makita mo kung ano yung kinabukasan ng mga anak mo," she told PEP.ph.

Yohan turned 18 last year, and Juday shared with her this reminder as she entered adulthood, "Just know that us, your family, will always be your safe space."

How to prepare your child for college life
In a 2018 Smart Parenting article, mom and college professor Angela Abaya-Garcia shared the four hurdles in college life where parents can help their children.
"Based on my work experience, teens often have a difficult time going over the following four hurdles where, whether they admit it or not, a parental wisdom is appreciated," Angela said.
#1 They will wrestle with identity and belongingness.
#2 Their decision-making skills need sharpening.
#3 Their emotional maturity level will be tested.
#4 They will question the direction they've set out.
