9 Pinoy Celebrity Breastfeeding Moms We LoveWe give a salute to these celebrity breastfeeding momsby Andrea Herrera .
Breastfeeding is best for babies, but it is not the easiest choice for many mothers. Many breastfeeding journeys include stories of struggles and difficulties such as sore nipples, low milk supply, engorgement, and improper latch. Celebrity mothers are not exempt from such challenges, but many of them have proudly chosen to breastfeed their little ones while dealing with long hours at work and sometimes, traveling and being away on location shoots.
Some of them have become staunch breastfeeding advocates and because of their celebrity status, they get to promote breastfeeding through their social media accounts.
We give a salute to these celebrity breastfeeding moms! Here are just some of them.

I told myself, for as long as I have milk, I’ll continue breastfeeding Alonzo. It became three months. I was barely producing milk, and some would already quit at this point, but I persisted because I saw that my baby was getting bigger. Then wow, I reached five months. Then six months. Maybe I’ll try to go for 10 months. And then one year na pala. I took it one day at a time."

7. Marilen Faustino
Marilen shared in an interview with SmartParenting.com.ph in May 2011 that her then- 10-month old son Iago was exclusively breastfed. "At the hospital after he was born, he was able to latch right away. The doctor was glad to see that I was able to do it. But then, at home, I encountered some difficulty because I had sore nipples, which I think was because I was doing something wrong also. I hired a lactation consultant and she corrected my positioning. That is very important especially when the baby is very small and is hard to handle. I was really committed to breastfeed and there was no turning back.”
