The actress and vlogger said she is finally sharing her journey to inspire other couples who are going through the same struggle. She said, "Shinare ko kasi kami ni Mikee noon, 'pag merong nangyayari sa akin na pain, ang kinakapitan ko noon aside from the Bible is nanonood ako ng mga life stories ng mga tao na galing dun sa pain na 'yun at nakaalis sila, tapos after ilang videos makikita mo na masaya sila."

She added, "Kung i-share ang kuwento natin sa kanila, baka matulungan natin sila maintindihan at maging less hard on themselves na 'Kasalanan namin ito.'"

Alex Gonzaga on overcoming grief from 2nd pregnancy loss

What helped her overcome the grief of losing their second baby was their faith in God and in each other. She said, "Nung ine-explain sa amin yung blighted ovum, wala ka pala talagang control sa pregnancy."

"Beyond our control ang pregnancy kahit IVF, kahit surrogate," she added.

The sisters revealed that both of them have thyroid problems, which may have affected their fertility. However, Alex didn't lose hope, and this year, Alex tried to conceive through IVF. She said she was inspired by American first lady, Michelle Obama. Unfortunately, the pregnancy didn't progress.

Alex was apologetic to her husband, but Mikee assured her that they are okay. "Si Mikee talaga, napakabait. Sabi ko, 'Mikee, sorry di na naman natuloy.' Sabi niya, 'Wag ka mag-sorry, madami pa tayong embryo. Go lang.'

Mikee, whom she married in November 202o, also affirmed her, "Alam mo sa totoo lang masayang-masaya na ako pag tayong dalawa lang. Bonus na lang sa akin pag merong baby."

"You just have to be happy sa blessing ng ibang tao. Kasi darating din yung sa'yo." —Alex Gonzaga

Nevertheless, Alex remains hopeful since they have only been married for three years. Toni assured her that there's so much time ahead of her.

She then revealed the reason why she decided to open up about her pregnancy loss.

"Sabi ni Mikee sa akin, kahapon lang, i-share mo kasi baka may matulungan ka. Sa journey mo na 'yan na laging naghihintay kung matutuloy yung pregnancy or not, tapos naging okay ka naman, 'wag mo i-gatekeep 'yung naramdaman mo o yung journey mo kasi yung kasama mo diyan sa infertility journey, kahit nasa ibang bansa sila, shinishare nila for other people like us who are trying."

Toni, who gave birth to her second child in August, assured her, "In the end, everything works for the good. Malalaman mo din 'yan pag hawak mo na yung baby mo, 'pag one day hawak mo na siya."

Finally, Alex left an encouraging message for those who are on the same journey as her, "Wag kayo magagalit kay Lord kasi may reason talaga. Always pray, 'Lord, please comfort me,' 'di ba you like to comfort the brokenhearted? Lord, be with me. Yakapin mo ako the whole time na di ako masaktan, madurog, maloka. Sasamahan ka talaga Niya kasi 'yun yung naramdaman ko eh."
