Basel Manadil, more popularly known as the Hungry Syrian Wanderer on YouTube, is now a dad!

The Syrian vlogger, who calls himself the Adopted Son of the Philippines, is known for being generous in sharing his blessings. He had to share his fatherhood journey, of course, in a vlog. He has almost 5 million subscribers on his YouTube channel.

In his 'emotional birth vlog,' he documented his wife's birthing journey.

The vlog, which was filmed around 2 A.M. on August 16 began with him going to the hospital from work. "No sleep starting today," the first-time dad said.

He shared that he felt mixed emotions of happiness and nervousness, "It will all go away once we see that little baby, excited much, mga tao." He also prayed for a safe delivery.

Netizens celebrated with him this new milestone, and are requesting him to reveal his wife's identity.

Among Basel's most popular content on his channel are when he surprises ordinary citizens by giving them money or helping them out.

With the safe birth of his son, he had this to say, "Blessings show up in many different forms and today, my son is my biggest blessing that God gave me. Thank you God for saving our little baby boy and our hero (my wife and my son's mother). She took all the pain in the world for him to arrive safely."

He added, "No words can describe our feelings with your arrival my love. Baba will always love you, Be there for you and guide you. May God give you good health and a peaceful one."

Basel also said that fatherhood is a great challenge but the most profound gift to every husband. No one can prepare you for it, and you can’t explain it until it happens to you.

It looks like we'll see more of the #HungrySyrianBaby on Basel's vlog! That's what happened to these first-time dads.

When Solenn Heussaff and Nico Bolzico got married, we loved watching their videos pulling pranks on each other. But we loved Nico, even more, when he became #ElPadre to their first-born daughter Thylane Katana or Tili.

Recently, Nico and Tili flew to Argentina together for the first time without Solenn, and he just raised the bar high for first-time dads! (PS. They made it).

In the end, Basel said, "Nothing in life will ever make you as happy, as sad, as exhausted, or as incredibly proud as fatherhood. SALUTE TO MY WIFE AND TO ALL THE MOTHERS."
