  • Compute Your BMI

“Get your pre-pregnant Body Mass Index (BMI) first to find out if you are underweight, normal,  overweight, or obese,” Dr. Aquino instructs. To compute for your BMI, get the square of your height in meters. Then divide your weight in kilograms by the square of your height. For example, if you weigh 68 kilograms and your height is 1.65 meters. You can compute for your BMI this way:

    • 68/(1.65)ⁿ
    • ⁿ = 2
