  • Ryza Cenon has struggled with postpartum depression after giving birth to her first child with partner Miguel Cruz. And she reveals the sadness continues to linger even now that Baby Night is a year old.

In an exclusive interview with PEP.ph, Ryza recounts how she still gets the sudden feeling of sadness every now and then.

Baby Night will celebrate his first birthday on October 31, and Ryza says her precious little one has become her lifeline. The actress says Baby Night has been giving her motivation to power through depression.

Although her journey as a new mom is not all rainbows and sunshine, Ryza considers all the experiences of motherhood as an opportunity to learn and grow as a person.

    On being a full-time mom

Ryza admits that she is already missing acting. But for now, she wants to ensure her baby will be well taken care of once she goes back to work.

Ryza is also still taking her time getting to know and spending time with her baby. She also takes pride in witnessing Baby Night's milestones.

Ryza said that morning naps hold a special place in her heart when it comes to their bonding moments..

Gustung-gusto niya yun," Ryza adds.

Ryza chooses to make the most out of her time as a full-time mom and housewife despite the difficulties.
