Nadine Samonte Gives Birth To Baby Girl: 'Grabe Ang Journey Ng Third Ko Pero We Survived’

Congratulations to Nadine Samonte on the birth of her third child with husband Rboy Chua!

The couple introduced their baby girl on their respective Instagram accounts on November 30, 2021.

Nadine said in her caption: "Everyone meet Harmony Saige Chua, our third/bunso." The actress went on thanking her ob-gyn, Dr. Sua-Lao, "for everything."

She added, "I can say she is the best doctor talga napaka talino at maalaga sobra. Without you wala akong Heather, Titus and Harmony. Ginagamit ka talaga ni Lord to help me and other mommies out there."

Nadine also said, "I will always be thankful," pointing out that "grabe ang journey ng third ko pero we survived."

Thus her endless gratitude list: "Thank you also to Dra. Sua for taking care of Harmony, and to all the nurses and doctors. Thank you. Manila Doctors Hospital will always have a special place in my heart. You guys are the best."

She then announced, "Now time to rest." But continued her outpouring of gratitude, anyway. "Thanks everyone for congratulating us and sending prayers before ako pmunta sa OR. Thank you Pastor Ferdie for praying for me and the fam @therunningpastor appreciated it. Have a great day ahead."

The now mother of three dedicated the end part of her post to her family: "To my husband @rboy_chua thank you for taking care of the kids at mas kabado ka pa kesa sa 'kin hahaha! Love you and the kids so much."

For his part, Rboy said in his caption: "The Great Equalizer has finally arrived! The referee to Heather and Titus, the Queen, the Bunso, the Star of our household. Welcome my beautiful daughter Harmony Saige Chua!"

He added, apparently in jest, "Btw I went shopping last week for more guns pala…I got a very very nice Sniper Rifle just for your manliligaws."

Nadine's "grabe" pregnancy journey

On November 3, Nadine posted on her Instagram that she was experiencing contractions already even if she was just 33 weeks into her pregnancy. Due to Nadine’s medical history of antiphospholipid antibody syndrome (APAS) and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), she is at risk for premature delivery.

She says in her post, "Pray na makalabas pa ako ng hospital today if not im gonna deliver soon. I know Lord will be there to guide me and our little one. Thank you sa mga nagprapray na for me."

It has been a difficult pregnancy for Nadine. She revealed she almost lost the baby during her third trimester. Her medical conditionos of APAS and PCOs were front and center during her maternity shoot, showing photos of the ultrasound, various medications, and hospital documents surrounding her. 

At that time, Nadine and Rboy are already parens to two kids, Heather Sloane, 5, and Austin Titus, 3. In a cute Instagram post, Nadine's announcement about Baby No. 3 stated that they are now a basketball team!

The newest addition to the family is even sweeter as Nadine had been advised to go the surrogacy route instead of getting pregnant herself—and now she has carried three kids!
