New Pregnancy Keepsake Trend: Umbilical Cord Art

  • You've heard about moms who eat placenta, putting it in shakes or taking it in tablet form to help prevent post-baby blues. Or they buy the placenta soaps and facial washes because of the promise of better skin. This time around, it's the umbilical cord that joins the ranks of...keepsakes. 

    Along with the 3D printed model of your unborn baby's face or letting the unborn baby make art (yes, you read it right), there are now moms who are making umbilical cord art as memento for the mother and baby. Why? To celebrate the bond they shared during pregnancy.
