Moms can stretch and gradually integrate some moves that can be done individually as well as those that can be done with baby. Below are a few quick and easy stretching exercises which Keller suggests moms can do with their husbands and even their older kids:
Partner stretch – Sit with your legs spread out to a V, with the soles of your feet touching your partner’s. Grasp each other’s hands and gently lean backwards as your partner is gently pulled forward.
Cat stretch – Start on your hands and knees, arch your back up, then release and press your hips back to your heels. Reach your arms out in front of your partner for him/her to gently pull on them.
