Any birth -- natural or C-section -- is scary because we don't know how it will go until you're right there at the moment. However, as Doula Betty Lugay-San Luis explained at our first for the year "Smart Parenting Baby Shower," women's bodies are designed to carry and nurture a child for nine months and to give birth. Fear is understandable, but if you ever doubted your strength as a woman, nothing captures it better than the time of childbirth.
Local birth videographer Dads Valencia Birth Films posted a video of a natural birth entitled Therese Joy's Birth Story last May 10, just in time for Mother's Day. "This is a heartwarming, tear-jerking, soul-refreshing beautiful home birth that will make you appreciate life and the new beginnings God gives to us every single day," read the caption. What other parents are reading

"What a great gift and a great way to honor all our mothers on their special day today! Happy Mothers' Day to all the brave mommies who brought us into this world and gave us love and so much more!" the caption for the film company's Mother's Day post read.
