Japan Home Centre, a popular discount store that offers Japan-made home products at super low prices, is having a one-day promo on February 4, 2023, where they will accept onions as payment for their selected items in one of their branches.

Before you rush into the Japan Home Centre near you with your most coveted bag of onions from your counter, here are some reminders:

Take note of this conversion rate: one onion = one item. Each customer is allowed to have up to three item purchases only. 

Can I go to the branch near me?

No. This promo is only available on February 4, 2023, from 9 A.M. to 8 P.M. in the Japan Home Centre Panay Branch, located at 84 Panay Avenue, Quezon City near Victoria Towers. It's their largest branch nationwide.

What size of onion is acceptable?

This is the question of most netizens, but according to their staff, any size of onion is okay, as long as it is whole and doesn't have leaves. Just bring three pieces, unless you have a companion.
