Smart Parenting x Lazada LazMom Approved: Tested by Real Moms

Moms know a thing or two about shopping, especially when it comes to shopping for their families. For many moms, finding the best deals on their must-haves can feel like a small win worth celebrating—and sharing with other moms, whether it’s with close mom friends in group chats, fellow moms in a Facebook community, or even strangers through social media posts and content.

And in this day and age, when thousands of products are available not just in stores but also online, many promising to make parenting easier, reviews from moms who have actually used them in real life can make a big difference in our buying decisions. Especially when we it’s our hard-earned money on the line.

Does the diaper really stay dry? Is this baby essential really safe for our baby? Will that household product stand up to everyday kalat? Will that toy survive a day of rough play with my toddler? Is the new brand everyone’s talking about really sulit?

For moms, the best recommendation often comes down to one thing: “Nasubukan na ba ito ng ibang nanay?”

For years, Smart Parenting has always shared our product reviews and given our seals of approval to deserving products that can make family life a little easier.

From products for the home and the whole family through the Smart Parenting Awards, to the yummiest and most sulit finds for our dining tables and kitchens through the Smart Parenting Food Awards, and the best products for the littlest members of the family through the Smart Parenting Baby Awards, our goal has remained the same: to find products that meet our standards and can genuinely help parents raise happy and healthy families.

This year, Smart Parenting teamed up with Lazada, one of the country’s leading e-commerce platforms, to help moms discover products that have been put through real-life stress-tests before earning a new seal: the Smart Parenting x Lazada LazMom Approved seal.

Smart Parenting and Lazada gave 30 moms—a mix of content creators and members of the Smart Parenting Village community—a selection of emerging brands and products that promise to make mom-life easier.

The challenge? Put each product to the test and prove its value through a “stress-test” designed to mimic—or even exaggerate—real-life parenting moments.

That could mean pouring a large volume of water into a diaper to test its absorbency or literally trying to destroy a toy to see if it can withstand a baby or toddler’s repeated rough play.

Our mommy testers opened the products, used them, and quite literally put them through the wringer. They looked at convenience, quality, performance, and value. Most importantly, they decided whether these were products they would actually recommend to other moms.

The results determined the first batch of Smart Parenting x Lazada LazMom Approved products.

We know that deciding which products deserve our hard-earned pesos can be tiring, especially when we already have so much on our plates. Browsing through countless videos and product reviews takes time, too.

But here’s the thing: There’s always value in lived and shared experiences, especially when they come from people who are in the same parenting era we are.

Because when you’re shopping for your family, sometimes the most useful review isn’t the longest or the most technical. It can be as simple as hearing another mom say: “I tried it. It works. I would buy it again.”

And that’s what the Smart Parenting x Lazada LazMom Approved hopes to make easier to find.
