'No Weight Limit On Beauty': Dani Barretto Is A Glowing Mama In Latest Bikini PhotoThe mom of one reminds everyone: 'There is no weight limit on beauty.'by Angela Baylon .
Body confidence is a pain point most moms face after giving birth. Such was the case for Dani Barretto, who previously opened up about working on accepting her postpartum body. But that's all in the past now for this celebrity mom.
In her recent Instagram post, Dani, 28, uploaded a photo of her clad in a two-piece bikini, which she coupled with a body positivity message for its caption.
The mom of one says she's breaking out from the shackles that are her insecurities, noting:
"There is no weight limit on beauty.
I am no longer a hostage of my insecurities.
I choose to be happy."
We're one with you in that message, mommy Dani!
Goodbye Insecurity, Hello Self Love
Dani's journey to accepting her uniquely beautiful body is long and bumpy. First, she had to hurdle comments comparing her to her siblings.
In 2021, during her guesting on Dr. Vicki Belo's vlog, Dani admitted how comments like "Hindi ka mukhang Barretto" or like, "Bakit ganoon 'yung mga kapatid mo, ang ganda, ikaw hindi?" got the best of her to the point where she didn't want to take photos of herself anymore.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
It was also last year when she got real about how she dealt with her post-pregnancy weight. "This was a loooooong and painful journey, and I'm not done yet. You have no idea how many times I cried in front of the mirror because my clothes don't fit me anymore, or how hideous I thought I looked," she wrote.
At that time, Dani says it was her daughter, Millie, who gave her the strength and motivation to be a "Healthy Momma, physically and mentally."
Dani shared, "Then I caught myself in between a breakdown one morning because I heard my daughter's laugh from downstairs. I remembered what matters the most. All my insecurities just faded away."
Aside from Dani, Sarah Lahbati also recently broke out of her mom-bod insecurities and bared her pregnancy stretchmarks.
Also posting a bikini photo, Sarah says it took her awhile but now, she considers her pregnancy stretch marks as her "best tattoos."CONTINUE READING BELOWRecommended Videos
She adds that those white stripes on her body are "A reminder that I am a strong and resilient woman who has been through a lot but most importantly, I've given birth to my two dearest sons, Zion and Kai. My angels. I am loved, understood & cherished by my husband. I couldn't ask for anything more."

Every mom will have their own distinct ways of getting to that place where they'll feel nothing but love, respect, and appreciation for their strong bodies that allowed them to welcome their little ones.
For celebrity moms Dani and Sarah, it helped to recenter their priorities and remind themselves of what matters most to them: their families. But most importantly, the path to self-love begins by being kinder to yourself, momma!
If you need reminding of how beautiful you are, we're borrowing words from another celebrity mom who's also vocal about body positivity, Geneva Cruz who said:ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
"A woman does not need to buy a thing to improve or change their irreplaceable, beautiful selves. Our scars, rolls, bones, pigmentations, big or small breasts, stretch marks, and wrinkles all tell a story — our own, unique stories."
