Want To Go Barefaced Like Bianca Gonzalez? Moms Recommend These Products
  • Who would still dare to go bare face in a world full of extended eyelashes, tattooed eyebrows, and contoured cheeks?

Despite being conscious about her skin imperfections, host and mom of two Bianca Gonzalez embraces her natural beauty as she flaunts her bare face on her 40th birthday portrait shoot.

"Beej, I turn 40 this March, and I wanna shoot a portrait that's very raw, no makeup or styling, literally 'this is me' ang peg," she told photographer BJ Pascual.

Bianca has always been proud of her morena skin, and she fully embraces her flaws, dark knees, scars, and all. However, she still gets conscious of it at times.

Netizens laud Bianca for her bold move. One user said, "Very insightful and inspiring! Super love the idea — something women should look up to embracing the "real you."

BJ, meanwhile, shared how he enjoyed the shoot. "The funny thing is, her skin was actually SO GOOD that even WITHOUT a stitch of makeup, it looked flawless in the test shots! I actually had to adjust the lighting a lot to make it more “unflattering” —to make it more obvious that she wasn’t wearing any makeup! Aside from that, it was the most chill shoot ever and I’m thankful to Bianca for trusting me with this shoot!"

Why women should try the no-make-up look

Author Louisa May Alcott once said, "Love is a great beautifier." Loving and being confident about yourself makes you more beautiful. While wearing makeup makes us feel pretty, here are some reasons why we should try to go barefaced:

    1. You'll build your self-confidence

Try looking in front of a mirror and see all those fine lines, freckles, dark spots, and stretch marks. Look beyond what you can see, and you'll see that your inner strength defines your natural beauty.

As one user said, "True beauty comes with happiness and contentment. Invest in your inner beauty, and you'll radiate more than ever."

    2. You'll save your skin from having breakouts

Putting a lot of products on our skin will have clashing effects on our skin that may lead to breakouts. Excessive makeup may lead to dry or oily skin, eye infections, discoloration, and hormonal imbalances. Wearing less make-up helps your skin breathe. Letting your skin rest once in a while and just sticking to the basics can keep it healthy.

    3. You'll appreciate your natural beauty

Many people feel pressured to conform to the world's standard of beauty. However, it takes courage to go out without make-up, but it will make you appreciate your natural beauty.
