Before I became a mom, I love going to gigs!
I remember those days when I would take a leave from work just to fall in line for hours to score even just Gen Ad tickets. And then finally, during the concert, I would stay up so late, dancing and drinking with friends, because the last song in the set is my favorite. After the last song, you won't leave yet, you'd hope for another song. "More! More!"
Now, thanks to the pandemic, us moms and dads would be happy to have at least 5 minutes uninterrupted shower, where they can sing their lungs out. Even just one song. Sometimes, it's an LSS of a Cocomelon song.
Those pre-mama memories came to mind when I saw Anne Curtis' carousel of photos on Instagram.
Anne Curtis showed her 'other side' when she flexed her favorite band tees. Ahh!
The actress said, since she got back to her regular stint in It's Showtime, she has been wearing glam outfits.
For a change, Anne wore eight of her favorite band shirts that she got from watching their live concerts.
She said, "Been a few weeks of being dolled up but this is also me - living in my fave band tees - all acquired from seeing them live. I realllly miss going to festivals & live gigs. Hopefully next year!"
She also had a funny exchange with her husband, Erwan Heusaff, in the comments section.
Erwan claims that more than half of the shirts are his. He said, "60% of those are mine."

Celebrities like Bianca Gonzales, Chito Miranda, and Karylle praised Anne's collection.
The mom of 2-year-old Dahlia Amelie also encouraged the younger generations to check out these bands. And for parents, Anne assures you that you are still you.
Here are the 8 looks of Anne, wearing very casual band shirts:

Like Anne, some of us may have a few chosen clothes that have sentimental value to us. May it be our wedding dress, baby's christening outfit, or a merchandise that matters to us.
Here are a few tips for new moms before you do the laundry, to care for your clothes:
1. Separate the whites, colored, and darks. Always.
This is the ultimate rule before laundry. Never wash the whites and darks together! This can be a good activity to do with your toddler, separating clothes into piles of the same color. This is to prevent any color bleeding, and to avoid damaging those with delicate fabrics.
2. Turn shirts inside out!
This is a tip to keep your colored shirts from fading. Before washing them, make sure to turn them inside out.
3. Check the tags for washing instructions, please.
This is usually ignored but it wouldn't hurt if you will read the tag first on instructions for washing. You would know then if the shirt is only to be handwashed.
4. Use only the right amount of detergent.
Repeat after me: more soap doesn't mean cleaner clothes. Just use the right amount of detergent based on the load.
In case you are shopping for detergent, Breeze is on sale in Lazada from June 22 to June 26, where you can get up to 30% off on Breeze products. You can also get a chance to win a washing machine with a minimum purchase of Php 599.
