These pregnant actresses, baby bumps and all, looked fabulous at the GMA Thanksgiving Gala 2022 red carpet. On July 30, local actors and actresses donned black-tie formal wear and long gowns for a fund raising night of glitz and glamor at Shangri-La The Fort, Manila. These moms did not let being pregnant become an excuse to miss out -- or look any less good than the other dressed-up celebrities there.
First on the list was Solenn Heussaff, who posed gracefully in her black body-hugging, Old Hollywood-inspired gown designed by Neric Beltran. The tight-fitting dress is perfect for her second trimester figure, which she is absolutely flaunting. Solenn is six months into her second pregnancy with husband Nico Bolzico.

SP Maternity Fashion Tip: A size bigger isn't always better. If you have the chance to fit into a dress for a formal event, do it and get into a comfortable measurement. Pregnancy can make your body undergo changes fast, so how you looked and felt a week ago could be completely different in a matter of days.
2. Be As Bold As Your Belly
Rita Daniela donned a smimmering sequined evening gown with long sleeves, a plunging neckline, and high slit designed by Joseph Palma. The bold, sophisticated gown highlighted all the beautiful curves that endow a woman during her pregnancy. Her side swept ponytail and cherry red lipstick were also hard to miss.
SP Maternity Fashion Tip: It's okay to show a little skin. Or a lot. Pregnancy hormones can really give an expecting mom an undeniable glow that shouldn't be dimmed. And if society tells you to dress more like a nanay, just block them out -- you don't need that negativity in your life.
Melissa Gohing looked radiant in her black-and-white custom "RAU" (Ryan Uson) maternity gown. An embellished off-shoulder lace laid over a comfortable empire cut that highlighted her growing belly. Since first announcing her pregnancy in May, it looks like Melissa could well be in the final weeks before delivery.
SP Maternity Fashion Tip: The A-Line skirt is a pregnant mom's best fashion friend. Whether your baby bump is small or big, this silhouette just drapes gracefully around your figure. This doesn't just apply to formal wear; heed this advice and grab yourself some casual maxi dresses.
