Celebrity mom Dimples Romana chose to immortalize her pregnancy journey for her baby number three with a series of maternity photos inspired by the four natural elements: Air, fire, earth, and water.
Saving the best for last, the soon-to-be mom of three recently dropped her snaps from the water concept. It was an underwater shoot by photographer Martin Zapanta, and the results were breathtaking!
Wearing tulle dresses, which flowed elegantly in the water, Dimples looked nothing short of divine in the photos.
She adds, "We all are fighting battles no one knows about. I pray today that whoever is reading this and is feeling the weight of the waves on your shoulder and you feel like giving up, STAY, KEEP FIGHTING, KEEP SWIMMING. We are part water anyway.
"DANCE with the waves. And as they say, let the waves carry you where the light cannot. I'm with you in prayer."
In her previous Instagram stories, Dimples shared a peek at the behind the scenes of the underwater shoot.
As difficult as the shoot looks, Dimples earlier said she's all for taking up challenging tasks. In her last press conference for a brand, where she also first revealed her pregnancy, the actress said she doesn't mind being put in situations where she feels pressure. That she did both literally and figuratively in this stunning underwater shoot!
On March 27, 2022, Dimples and her husband Boyet Ahmee hosted a gender reveal party where they found out that they're about to welcome another baby boy. The couple of two decades are also parents to Callie and Alonzo.
Like Dimples, who is radiating in her maternity photos, pregnant women are often told that they are "glowing." As it turns out, the so-called "pregnancy glow" actually has a biological basis.
During pregnancy, women's bodies go through various changes, including hormone fluctuations and increased blood flow and oil production in the skin. These, according to Healthline, are possible reasons behind pregnancy glow.
How so, you ask? During pregnancy, increased production of estrogen, progesterone, and human chorionic gonadotropin "can make your skin look flushed, giving you the tell-tale glowing look."
Also, the increased volume of blood causes the cheeks to take on an attractive blush. On top of this natural blush, the increased secretions of the oil glands give the skin a waxy sheen.
Here's a shoutout to all the glowing preggo mommas out there!
