When you’re expecting, life suddenly changes 180 degrees. You’ll have food cravings that may cause you to gain weight, your body will feel heavy, you’ll experience morning sickness, and altogether feel insecure, ugly, and unsexy. When you're feeling exactly that, here are 10 sure-fire ways that can help you feel sexy while pregnant:
We all know how important exercise is to keep fit and stay healthy. Pregnancy is not an excuse to slump on the couch in the mornings - go out of your house for a brief walk and shake off that sluggish feeling. Not only does exercise keep you physically fit, it also gives you the energy to start your day right and helps prevent bloating. However, consult your doctor before starting any new physical activity.
When you’re pregnant, you are likely to eat more than you normally do. Don’t fret, though. You can eat for two and still stay in shape. The key is to eat in moderation, and avoid bingeing. Have a bite more frequently, but in smaller amounts. This will help you keep your cravings at bay without starving yourself.
Many pregnant women instantly resort to conventional, oversized maternity dresses, which can often be unflattering.Times have changed, however, and clothing stores and designers have come up with sexy and fashionable dress designs for pregnant women as well. Get funky and sexy maternity wear, like mini-skirts and jeans. Remember though that squeezing yourself to fit into your old jeans is a no-no. Pants with garters are comfortable and may be reused even after you’ve given birth. Learn to mix and match as well. Opt for affordable clothes since you will only be wearing them for a few months. Keep the same sexy criteria in mind when shopping for lingerie - enough of those granny panties, and say hello to sexy undies! Choose brassieres that display your newfound asset – your cleavage. Love your curves!

4. Prettify your crowning glory
There are pregnant women who attest to having shiny, silky, and healthy hair during the second trimester of their pregnancies. Don’t pass up this chance to try on a new hairstyle. If you’ve always worn your hair long, give it a twist with some layers. Most hair salons, however, would advise you not to have hair treatments which involve the use of chemicals, e.g., perming, hair rebonding etc because the offensive odor may affect your extra-sensitive olfactory sense.
Like your hair, your nails must be growing faster than normal, too. Again, take advantage - French tips or nail art, anyone? Try a hand and foot spa, too, to relax. Pretty nails, hands and feet are definitely sexy.

6. Enjoy your glow
Another thing you’ll be thankful for when you’re pregnant is your skin. Pregnant women have that naturally-radiant, rosy glow, thanks to the increased blood flow in their system. Put on some orange- or cherry-flavored lip gloss to complement your rosy cheeks.
Did you know that some men actually find pregnant women sexy and attractive? So don’t be ashamed to express your sensual side to your partner. Take your pregnancy as a gift and explore possibilities. Remember, a confident woman is a sexy woman.
Sexiness, like happiness, is a state of mind. You don’t have to be skinny to feel sexy. Instead of moping around, think of the blessing this pregnancy brings. Always remember that whatever you’re feeling can be felt by your baby, too, inside your womb so it’s important that you remain happy and positive.
Surround yourself with friends who can give you support when you’re feeling a little down. Have lunch or dinner with them and talk about the good old days. Laugh. Share experiences. If you have friends who've had kids, ask for tips on how they kept themselves in good shape while pregnant. You’ll realize that even a little time spent with your friends can do wonders.
