Winwyn Marquez Looks Angelic In Her Maternity Photoshoot

Maternity shoots have been viewed as a way to celebrate moms-to-be and the forthcoming life they are set to welcome. This is exactly what Winwyn Marquez embodied in her latest maternity shoot.

The 29-year-old former beauty queen's pregnancy glow shone through in the photoshoot. Her sheer dress shows off Winwyn's pregnant belly.

The maternity shoot has an overall ethereal look—given the blue drapes elegantly flowing in the background and the scattered feathers on the floor.

"Growing a little person in your belly is the most magical thing."

This was the caption the first-time preggo shared when she posted her portraits on Instagram last March 7, 2022.

In their separate post, Next by Metrophoto, which took the photos, said the maternity photoshoot reflects Winwyn's "bold and beautiful interpretation of her existence as a woman."

It adds, "To bear a child is like having another precious jewel to her crown."

Winwyn's pregnancy journey

Winwyn first announced to the public her pregnancy on December 18, 2021. Then before ending the year, she revealed that she is having a baby girl with her non-showbiz partner, whose identity is still kept from the public.

Now in her third trimester, the former beauty queen shared on a vlog that she gets tired so easily, goes to the bathroom to pee frequently, and is having a difficulty sleeping on her back. (Read more about the pregnancy symptoms Winwyn experienced here)

She also admitted getting affected whenever she get comments about her belly size."I’m struggling, especially when I meet people, sinasabi nila sa ’kin, ‘Oh, ang liit ng tummy mo,’ ‘Are you really pregnant?’ [Or now] ‘Ang laki mo na.’ Every time they see me, and ’yun ang sinasabi nila, napapa-praning ako."

But as her doctor points out, and this is something other preggo moms should always remember: "When I talk to my ob,' yun ang mga tanong ko. She reminds me na as long as your baby is healthy and right weight and right size.

"Iba-iba naman ang katawan ng pregnant woman, and we don’t have to worry about that. Iba-iba ang shape naming pregnant."

Embracing the new chapter of her life, Winwyn also said the changes in her body brought by pregnancy helped her realize a newfound appreciation for womanhood.

She says, "Naa-amaze pa rin ako sa changes sa body. Ang galing ng katawan ng babae!"
