Liz Uy’s Super Mario Birthday for Mati Shows Small-Scale Can Be Big Fun

Liz Uy transformed the Mushroom Kingdom into a colorful playground for her second son Matias’s fifth birthday, creating a Super Mario adventure full of games, decorations, and creative activities.

In photos she shared online, Mati, whom Liz fondly called “Super Mati,” celebrated with family and close friends. The party was brought to life with the help of several event suppliers, including creative planning by Paby’s Creates Events, styling by The Party Project Manila, and photography by Cocoon Studio.

The party theme also feels timely, with fans recently celebrating Mario Day on March 10, honoring Nintendo’s iconic character from Super Mario Bros.

The event styling by The Party Project Manila featured bright colors and playful elements inspired by the Mario universe. Parents planning a similar party can decorate with red and blue balloons, yellow stars, and familiar icons such as question mark blocks, coins, and mushrooms.

Young guests stayed busy thanks to several activity stations. A mobile play area gives kids space to climb and explore, while carnival-style games add a festive touch.
