'Sarap To The Bones': Your Guide To 2025 Max’s Restaurant Party Packages

This article was published on May 1, 2024 and has been updated on December 30, 2024.

Every parent is excited (and anxious) to celebrate his/her child’s special event, no matter how big or small it may seem. There are parents who would like to be in charge of their child’s birthday celebration and have a long checklist of things to do, buy, or D-I-Y, to make the event memorable and meaningful for everyone. There are also those parents who barely have time to prepare due to the demands of their job or their role and would like to just book a party package, pay, attend, have fun, and that’s it.

There are many popular choices for these “all-in” party packages (venue, design setup, party host, set meals, prizes, and even giveaways included in the bundle), but if you’re thinking of classic Pinoy birthday party staples: chicken, spaghetti, and barbeque, then you might want to consider Max’s Restaurant for your next kiddie party. It’s a restaurant close to our hearts with their flavor-packed servings of appetizing, authentic Filipino dishes.

According to their website, the rise of Max's Restaurant dates back in 1945, after World War II, when Maximo Gimenez, befriended the American troops stationed at Quezon City. Their closeness prompted Maximo to open a cafe, where the troops could enjoy and pay for their food and drinks. Her niece, Ruby, created a special recipe for fried chicken that became an instant soldiers’ favorite. Soon, Max's Restaurant was established to accommodate not only the soldiers but also the Filipino public. And as they say, the rest is history.

Max’s has more than 180 branches in the Philippines and you can check their store locator to find a branch near you. Max’s party package amenities may include three hour use of the venue, party host, party kits, giveaways, game prizes, birthday themed cake, and free use of party banner. Party planning 'Pro' tips

1. Plan ahead of time. Check availability of preferred schedule, do ocular inspection of the venue, explore your options, and inquire about availability of desired party enhancers or if external party suppliers are allowed in your branch of choice.

2. Minimize expenses. Consider customizing budget-friendly giveaways or purchase souvenirs/additional prizes in bulk to reduce costs.

3. Ask guests to RSVP at a certain date. This will help you anticipate how many guests are coming, including those who are not, so you can adjust your list and budget accordingly.

4. Plan your outfit, too. When we get too busy with planning preparations, we tend to get lost in the day-to-day and in betweens of party planning that we end up forgetting ourselves. Of course there is nothing wrong with any outfit but at the same time, we also want to look good in photos because at the end of the day, these are all we have left. Plan if you want to have a "themed" outfit for the entire family or if you simply want to look pleasant on the day of your child's party. It's a form of self-care, too.

5. Find time to relax. The very purpose of 'all-in' packages is for you to maximize your time and productivity with less effort. But still, party planning can sometimes cause undue stress so make sure you find time to breathe, clear your head, and look forward to creating wonderful moments with the family.
