Ateneo de Manila Finds a New Home in the South

Set to rise on a 15-hectare property, the upcoming Ateneo campus will bring world-class Jesuit education closer to learners in Cavite and neighboring provinces such as Laguna and Batangas.

“The new Ateneo campus in Riverpark allows us to extend our mission and provide more families in Cavite and nearby provinces with access to quality education rooted in our Jesuit tradition,” said Fr. Yap.

“This expansion reaffirms Ateneo’s enduring commitment to be a force for good—forming persons who are not only competent but also compassionate, ready to lead and serve in a rapidly changing world,” he added.

The new development comes as more communities continue to grow in Southern Luzon. The campus aims to carry the same Ateneo standard that has shaped generations of leaders while offering a more accessible learning environment in the South.

Riverpark, the site of the new Ateneo campus, is envisioned as a smart and sustainable township designed for future-ready living. Developed by Federal Land, Inc., Riverpark integrates residential, commercial, and institutional spaces to promote innovation and a high quality of life.

GT Capital President Carmelo Maria Luza Bautista said Ateneo’s presence is set to elevate Cavite’s education landscape while supporting local communities.

“Ateneo’s presence in Riverpark not only strengthens the educational landscape of Cavite but also uplifts the lives of the communities we serve,” he shared. “Our investment in this campus reflects our long-term commitment to creating sustainable value for generations of Filipinos, anchored on the values of excellence and service.”

While the university has yet to announce the official opening date and program details, the partnership signals an exciting new chapter for Ateneo—and for the communities that will soon grow around this next-generation campus.
