Kuya Kim, Felicia Grieve Daughter Emman: Kind, Brave, Loved

On October 24, Felicia Atienza announced via an Instagram post the passing of her daughter, Emmanuelle Atienza. “It’s with deep sadness that we share the unexepcted passing of our daughter and sister, Emman.” Emman is the youngest daughter of Kim Atienza and Felicia.

“She brought so much joy, laughter, and love into our lives and into the lives of everyone who knew her. Emman had a way of making people feel seen and heard, and she wasn’t afraid to share her own journey with mental health. Her authenticity helped so many feel less alone,” Atienza wrote. Emman was 19 years old.

In a 2024 article, Smart Parenting reported on Kim Atienza’s change in perspective on mental health. The article was based on a mental health panel discussion held by MindNation in October 2023.

Felicia ended her announcement to honor Emman’s memory: “we hope you carry forward the qualities she lived by: compassion, courage, and a little extra kindness in your everyday life.”

Her announcement post includes 20 photos of Emman and her family through the years, including young family photos of the Atienzas.

Felicia and Kim Atienza have three children. Kim is more popularly known as Kuya Kim and his work as a TV presenter and personality. Felicia is a social entrepreneur.
