Celebrity couple Loisa Andalio and Ronnie Alonte are officially parents! On March 12, Ronnie shared the happy news on Instagram with a photo of their baby’s head wrapped in a piece of clothing bearing the couple’s initials.
“Meet our Nili,” he captioned the post. Loisa later reposted the photo on her Instagram story, sharing in the joy. Their daughter’s full name, Runi Lior, was revealed last month.
The story behind Nili’s name was first revealed during a February video from their intimate gender reveal and baby shower. Ronnie explained: “Kaya Runi yan kasi akala ko noong una lalaki talaga kasi kapag lalaki is Ronnie, eh naging babae kaya Runi na lang kaya ayon siya.”
Friends and fellow celebrities sent their congratulations, including Charlie Dizon, Karla Estrada, and Lotlot de Leon. Fans also joined in sending their well wishes.
Loisa first rose to fame as a housemate on Pinoy Big Brother, while Ronnie is known for acting and performing with the male dance group Hashtags. Loisa and Ronnie tied the knot late last year after almost a decade together, though their relationship only went public in 2018.
Last Christmas, they surprised fans with the news of Loisa’s pregnancy, later confirming it would be a girl.
