The actress recently shared a vlog with husband Mikael Daez, documenting their birth story from the 39th week of pregnancy to the arrival of their baby boy, Leon.

At 39 weeks, Megan expressed how ready she was to meet her baby. “I just want to give birth already,” she said, adding that her body was starting to slow down.

The next day, on Mother’s Day, she was seen welcoming her mom, who had flown in from the United States to be with her during the final stretch of her pregnancy.

The moment the couple had been waiting for came at 40 weeks, when Megan finally went into labor.

“I feel like this is a dream. I feel like everything is happening so quickly,” she shared, comparing the moment to her coronation day at Miss World. “Parang chill lang, relax lang, tapos all of a sudden tapos na. So, I feel like ganon din ang mangyayari dito when I give birth,” she said.

Leon arrived after almost 20 hours of labor.

In the vlog, Megan can be seen cradling her newborn while breastfeeding. “Oh my gosh, I'm breastfeeding, I can't believe I'm doing this, this is insane!” she said, still in awe of the experience.

By the end of their first day as parents, Megan and Mikael were still processing everything.

“It has been a crazy first day and a half for new parents Boneezy and Fofo with our baby boy Leon,” she said. “I didn’t think I could feel all these emotions in one go. I feel happiness, excitement, and so much love.”

She then turned to ask Mikael how he was feeling. “I feel tired,” he said, “but I love it.”

People had been asking Megan what it felt like and how the breastfeeding journey was going.

“I keep saying it’s so fun. It’s so hard, but it’s so fun because I’ve never experienced something like this, obviously, as a first-time mom. It’s so new to me.”

Mikael also shared a quiet moment of appreciation, telling Megan she was patient with Leon.

Back at home, the new family began settling into their routine. A week later, Mikael shared that emotions were still running high, even for Megan’s mom. Megan couldn’t hold back her own tears either. “I’m so happy,” she said.

“Everything is starting to sink in already. I’m a mom!”
