New moms have been gushing about a local bag brand with a minimalist design aesthetic as a diaper bag that both mom and dad can carry. On Threads, moms have shared short reviews of BASH Manila bags, calling them spacious, affordable, and stylish diaper bag options with, of course, a parent's favorite: plenty of compartments. The Mini Weekender Mono, P3,295, is a popular pick among new moms, especially after the recent release of the “Jet Set” shade, a rich magenta. BASH Manila is founded and co-owned by Bea Alonzo, Bea Secosana, and Brina Secosana, and is inspired by Alonzo’s iconic character Basha from One More Chance.
The bag features a top-access zipper, compartments primarily designed to organize clothes and shoes, and a padded laptop slot, but new parents repurpose it for baby’s daily essentials: diapers, extra clothes, wipes, nursing bibs, and feeding bottles. It features a dual strap, a hand or shoulder carry, and a luggage attachment perfect for family vacations. The bag is an answer to Basha's iconic line: "I want space!"
‘Jet Set’ is currently unavailable on its website as of writing, but signature colorways carbon (black), dune (cream) and terra (brown) are still available.

Joolz Aer+ Parent Review: The Stroller I Didn’t Know I Needed
Looking for a stroller your child can use from newborn till her toddler years? We road tested this for a comprehensive review.
READ MOREOther parents who prefer backpacks for diaper bags picked the Weekday Backpack, P2,495. It also features a padded laptop space, multiple compartments, hidden pockets, dual bottle holders, and an extra side pocket. Its trolley sleeve can be zipped into a pocket when it’s not in use.

Lans Leonardo said she recently switched to the Weekday Backpack “because baby is getting heavier by the day. Ang hirap na tuloy kapag parehong buhat. In fairness sa Bash, ang ganda! So many pockets to keep baby’s things organized.” She also replied to other moms that the bag is lightweight when empty and can likely hold both mom's and baby’s things if you’re only going out for a short time, which she does.
Moms on Threads have said that they prefer the Weekender for easy access to items even while you’re wearing the bag versus a backpack, while others prefer the backpack because it’s easier to sling on the stroller and also for dads to carry. Backpacks also score in the category of distributing the bag’s weight equally to both shoulders.
