A group of 30 momfluencers and members of the Smart Parenting Village put several emerging baby and kids' brands and products through stress tests to determine which ones deserve to be Smart Parenting x Lazada LazMom Approved.

Each product underwent a specific challenge designed to mimic—and sometimes even exaggerate—a real-life parenting scenario. From pouring 200 mL of liquid into a diaper to hitting a baby rattle with a hammer, moms tested the products themselves and saw how they performed beyond what the label claimed.

Here’s how the products fared when moms put them to the test:

If there’s one baby product parents use constantly, it’s diapers. A newborn may need about five to eight diaper changes a day. That’s why choosing the right diaper matters. Beyond keeping babies comfortable and dry, parents want something that can handle leaks—especially overnight.

Flo Torres-Hora, mom of two, had a similar experience. “During the overflow test, it was fast-absorbing. I would've trusted this product if I had discovered this, or if this was already available when we were still in our diaper days.”

Jeca Trinidad, mom of one, says the results made her more confident about using the diaper overnight. “After seeing how quickly it absorbed and held the liquid during the stress test, I would feel comfortable using it overnight. It absorbed the liquid quickly, and I noticed no leakage from the diaper even after the 200 ml stress test.”

Tiff Valdez, mom of two, was surprised by the rattles’ sturdiness, too. “After all that shaking, dropping, and testing, it still held up really well—parang ready pa rin for another round with baby.” Beyond durability, she also liked how the toys were designed for little hands. “First impression as a mama: ang cute and easy for little hands to hold!
