Cuteness Overload! Andi Manzano's Daughter Amelia Had A Xiao Long Bao Party

A year ago, celebrity mom Andi Manzano and husband GP Reyes welcomed their second daughter, Amelia Corazon, on January 19, 2019. The businessman and dad of two called it a "truly auspicious date" in his birthday greeting for his bunso.

Amelia turned 1 over the weekend and marked this fantastic milestone with an intimate gathering of family and friends at home. She'll have her big birthday bash on February 2nd!

The idea to have Amelia's first intimate birthday gathering a xiao long bao dimsum-themed party is absolutely genius! First of all, it's unique and perfect for the occasion, plural.

"Dimsum Party for our Xiaolong Bae," Mom Andi joked as she announced her second daughter's birthday on Instagram.

Not only is Amelia's birth date auspicious, but it also happens to be close to this year's Chinese New Year celebration on Friday, January 25, 2020. She even wore a nice red dress, perhaps for good luck, not that she needed a lot.

"She is the most perfect and happy little human, so brave and fierce. She amazes us every day with the new things she learns," Andi shared in one of her birthday posts for the little lady on Instagram.

Andi revealed in her Instagram Stories that she only had two days to plan for her second daughter's intimate get-together at home. Thanks to Nest Manila's Monique Jamlang, they were able to pull it off! Amelia's big sister Olivia also helped set it up.

Andi transformed a small space in their home into a birthday corner. It featured an amazing portrait painting of Amelia, and red and white paper lanterns. They also put up black-and-gold "Happy Birthday" buntings on the wall and placed gold, inflatable letters that spelled "One" on the table.

What caught our attention is Amelia's super adorable xiao long bao cake made by Swell Sweet Cake Lab. The owner Gel Colet was kind to accept a rush order, according to Monique. It turned out to be a cake that's one-of-a-kind and too cute!

At first glance, you might think that the centerpiece was a dimsum bowl with real pork buns. It looked too real amidst the bright red table cloth, which had gold star cut-outs scattered all over. But when you take a close look, the xia long baos will remind you of Pixar's animated short film entitled Bao.

Everything was simple and yet picture perfect! We can't wait to see if her big first birthday party will have the same theme.
