Smart Parenting Unites Moms in Grandest Mother's Day Event Yet

Year after year, Smart Parenting strives to match the unwavering love and support that every Filipino mother selflessly gives to her family. And there's no better time to do this than on Mother's Day—a commitment Smart Parenting has consistently upheld since the pandemic.

How Smart Parenting celebrates Mother's Day through the years

In 2021, as the world emerged from the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, Smart Parenting launched the #MySmartParentingStory contest. It was a nationwide call for stories from parents whose lives were touched by the parenting brand in one way or another. On May 15, celebrating Mother's Day, a prize of P100,000 was awarded to the parent whose story best answered the question: How did Smart Parenting help you in your parenting journey?

In 2022, Smart Parenting launched #MommyVerse, a month-long celebration exclusive to the Smart Parenting Village. Moms were showered with giveaways from generous partner brands—ranging from nursing wear to mattresses—all in recognition of every mom's strength and resilience.

The past two years saw Smart Parenting shine a light on mothers' often unseen and thankless roles. Through the photo contests #Motherhood100 in 2023 and #Parenthood100 in 2024, everyday moments of motherhood—both the mundane and the extraordinary—were shared and celebrated.

These powerful images lit up LED billboards across the country, bringing well-deserved visibility to Filipino moms' devotion, strength, and courage.

Making History at Smart Parenting Mother's Day Fair 2025

This year, thanks to the unwavering support of generous partners who recognize the parenting media brand's authentic love and care for Filipino mothers, it made history. On May 11, for the first time ever, Smart Parenting hosted its grandest on-ground Mother's Day event—a celebration for its loyal community of over 112,000 parents.

It was more than just a fair—it was a heartfelt gathering of almost 1,000 mothers and their families in a way that Smart Parenting has never done before. It's a memory that will forever be etched in the minds and hearts of the moms who joined both on-ground and online. 

From powerful panel discussions featuring celebrity moms and experts reflecting on how motherhood shaped them, to generous giveaways—including everything from free hairstyling to a full maternity package, Smart Parenting Village moms were treated like queens.

What moms love about the Smart Parenting Mother's Day Fair 2025

Among the 3,000 attendees of the event were first-time expecting mothers, moms of multiples, those with their partners and children in tow—all united in the belief that mothers deserve to be seen, honored, and celebrated.

"It's the perfect way to celebrate Mother's Day with fellow moms. I was really looking forward to this," said Mommy Joselle Ona, a long-time Smart Parenting Squad member and one of the most active voices in the Smart Parenting Village.

Mom of two Rhea Marie Ortiz said the event exceeded her expectations, "Super nag-enjoy kami. Madami akong nakitang fellow moms, ang daming learnings about myself and motherhood, and madami din akong nakuhang freebies!"

Mom of three She Guinto took the fair as an opportunity to pause. As a content creator, she would usually be seen at events with two kids in tow. However, this Mother's Day, she spent time with herself. "I enjoyed all the activities and meeting lots of mommies from the Smart Parenting Village."

Mommy Christine Gregorio, also known as Introvert Nanay, shared, "Yung takeaway ko naman from the panelists is tama yung sinabi nila na hindi every day na masaya tayo. But we're also grateful sa lahat ng mga challenges natin, especially I'm a stay-at-home mom, super nakaka-relate talaga ako. 'Yung mga struggles natin every day, 'yung mga hindi natin napapakita sa social media, 'yung mga story, yung mga iyak natin. We share the same sentiments as mothers."

Mommy Joy Monterey, who came to the fair with her daughter who has autism, shared, "Fun naman po, nag-enjoy siya sa Leisure Park. Ako naman, nag-enjoy sa food! Food is love!" She said the Facebook group has not only been her source of information but also of strength, as she raises her neurodivergent daughter, knowing that she is not alone. 

Why moms love the Smart Parenting Village community

Mommy Whilms Cosme, who has been a member of the community since 2017 said, "Pandemic baby yung son ko. Siyempre, kapag first-time mom ka, wala kang idea kung ano yung mga dapat mong gawin. So, isa talaga 'yung Smart Parenting Village na community na naka-help sakin."

Mommy Joselle, who now manages the community, Bento Beshy PH for moms who love preparing bento meals for their kids, shares why she appreciates the Smart Parenting Village. "It is really my go-to place up to now na may two kids na ako. It has become my source of information, lalo na kapag kailangan ko ng new perspectives about motherhood." 

Mommy She adds, "I think the best part about Smart Parenting Village is that you can ask for help, kasi kahit may three kids na ako, I still need help, so sometimes I ask questions, and the parents are very helpful."

Other parents shared their gratitude posts in the Facebook group as soon as they got home.

Mommy Chamyness said, "First time ever ko makaattend sa ganitong event. Nakakatuwa pala."

Mommy Glenda Caballero meanwhile shared, "Sulit lahat ng pagod namin. Whole family present!"

Mommy Meldy Natividad said it best, "Sobrang happy po ng nanay heart ko. Yung bawat booth has different ways to make you feel loved and special. It is indeed the best way to celebrate Mother's Day! Maraming salamat po!"

Truly, it takes a village to raise not only a child but also a mother. With this successful celebration, we're already counting the days and looking forward to working again on the next Mother's Day.
