A. Light Shows

1. Ayala Triangle Lights and Sounds Show, Makati
Now on its 3rd year, be dazzled once again with the shower of multicolored lights synchronized with a medley of jazzy Christmas tunes so catchy you can dance along. This year, the display includes strobe lights, moving spherical lamps, orbs, fogs and laser. Show is on every 30 minutes from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at the Ayala Triangle Gardens, Ayala Avenue, Makati.

2. Meralco Liwanag Park, Ortigas

Meralco’s Liwanag Park is a party of lights and colors that showcases lighted buildings and plaza, robot statues, a giant santa, a giant belen and a roving tram. Make your visit more enjoyable by visiting the Liwanag Park's Night Bazaar and joining their photo contest on their Facebook page. The Meralco Liwanag Park is open nightly from 6-10 PM until January 6, 2013.

3. Merry Musical Lights at Trinoma, Quezon City
Patrons can have their photo taken with the Merry Musical Lights' Angel of Light and Minstrel and join their Instagram promo. This show is open to the public and is happening on the following dates: November 12, 2012 to January 6, 2013 (6 pm, 7 pm, 8 pm and 9 pm) except Dec. 31.

4. Giant Christmas Tree / Sea of Lights at the Araneta Center, Cubao
Catch a glimpse of this year's Giant Christmas Tree, a tradition Araneta Center has kept going for years now, along with the life-sized nativity scene at the Farmer's Market. The Sea of Lights is a display of brightly-lit capiz floats from Roxas City. Catch it at the Araneta Center Quadrant C parking from November 16, 2012 to January 6, 2013.

5. Christmas Forest with Holiday Symphony of Lights at the Eastwood City, Libis

Witness a symphony of lights and Christmas music at Eastwood City's snow-capped Christmas Forest at Eastwood Citywalk 2, Libis, Quezon City. The show happens Fridays and Sundays from 6 to 11 pm at 30–minute intervals, and hourly from 6 to 11 pm on Saturdays.

6. Holiday Laser Lights Show  at Robinsons Magnolia, Manila

B. Projection Displays

7. Spectrum of Christmas Colors at Glorietta, Makati
The façade of Glorietta 4 comes alive as it turns into a giant movie screen showcasing a Christmas story accompanied by Filipino Christmas songs. The show is played every 30 minutes from 6 PM to 9:30PM until December 16.

8. Jessie's Gift 3D Projection Show at Resorts World Manila, Pasay
Resorts World Manila unveiled ‘Jessie’s Gift’, a Christmas story projected on the walls of the Newport Mall, last December 1, and spectators can look forward to new chapters of the tale each week. The show happens at 8 pm daily until December 30. Admission is free.

C. Moving Displays

9. Christmas on Display (COD) Greenhills

Designed and built by the Manila COD team to continue the tradition after the closure of the COD in Cubao, this spectacular moving display is now on its 10th year at the Greenhills Shopping Center. This year's theme is Christmas on Planet Greenhills, and tells the story of a child going to futuristic Greenhills. A space ship, a planetary village and alien creatures move along to the narration and traditional Chritmas songs. This 12-minute show runs nightly from 6:30 to 11:30 PM until January 6, 2012. Admission is free.

10. Animated Christmas Display at the Pasig City Hall
A 15-minute show with moving mannequins as main characters, this Christmas display promotes the proper care for the environment with the help of popular characters as well like the Angry Birds, Shrek, Avatar and Santa Claus.

D. Fireworks

11. Greenbelt, Makati
Every Friday from December 7-28

12. Alabang Town Center
The holidays light-up with Fire in the Sky, a vibrant display of fireworks! Every Saturday & Sundays of December and on January 1 at 6 pm at the Town Plaza.

E. Parades

17. Grand Festival of Lights at SM Mall of Asia
Breathtaking lighted floats representing different SM store brands like Toy Kingdom, Discovery Science Center and Kids Universe will parade around the SM Mall of Asia grounds every Saturday (December 1, 8, 15, and 22) at 6 P.M.. Watch out for the special Christmas Day Parade.

18. UP Lantern Parade - Diliman

This annual activity showcases works of UP students representing different colleges and groups. Not limited to floats and lanterns, there are also presentations of costumes and performances. This year's parade will be held on December 14 (December 13 at UP Manila) at the academic oval, capped by awarding ceremonies for the lanterns, floats and belen displays.

19. Holiday Jam with Eastwood Mascots
Eastwood City’s mascots - Woodluck, Easter, Cyburp and E-walk - come out to spread the holiday cheer among shoppers on December 15, 16, 22, 23, 29, 30, between 2 PM and 6 PM

20. Cartoon Characters Meet and Greet at SM Mall of Asia
Your favorite cartoon characters will shake hands and pose for a photo with you at the Main Mall Atrium on these dates:

21. Holiday Hymns at the Araneta Center
Christmas carols will fill the air as different chorale groups serenade you every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, from November 30 to December 23 at 6 and 7 PM at the Ali Mall, Farmer's Plaza and Quadrant C (near the giant Christmas tree).

22. Manila Broadcasting Company National Choral Competition
Watch the semi-finals at the Aliw Theater from December 3-6. Grand finals on December 7 at 6 PM. Contact Hans of 101.1 Yes FM at 0917-748-6684. Free admission.

23. Chorale Showdown at Resorts World Manila
Chorale groups from different parts of the country come together to compete in a showdown at the Newport Performing Arts Theater on December 11, 7 PM.

24. Pepe's Secret Christmas Ballet Show
Pepe’s Secret Christmas is a ballet concert produced by Ayala Malls and Steps Dance Project. In the story, Pepe falls asleep during mass and is taken into an enchanted place of talking farm animals. Open to the public with limited seats, reservation for all shows is required.

25. Psalty's Christmas Calamity at the Festival Mall

I. Snow World
 
35. Christkindle Market
The ice skating rink of SM Mall of Asia will be transformed into a European Christmas Village with shops, activities and attractions on a carpet of snow-like ice, which you can enjoy with or without your ice skates! Activities include a Christmas tree lighting, ballet performances, skating and sled ride, snow fall, lantern parade, games, and more. From December 3-9 only. Tickets are priced at P200 each.

36. Trails to Antartica at the Manila Ocean Park
This attraction which opened in November last year includes a Penguin Exhibit where penguins can be fed, Slide o' Fun (a long slide made of ice) and Snow Village. Manila Ocean Park is taking P100 off the ticket price from December 1 to January 31 as part of its Christmas Bonanza promo.

37. Snow World at Star City
A Star City regular attraction, Snow World takes you to a freezing experience with ice sculptures and an ice slide. Tickets are at P130 Each.

38. Snow Shower at PLDT Christmas Forest, Eastwood City

Experience Winter Wonderland at Eastwood City! Visitors can walk down evergreen lanes and be surrounded by brightly-lit Christmas Trees, ornaments, and a shower of snow to complete your ‘white Christmas” experience.

This street has become famous over the years. People flock here to see elaborately-decorated houses that light up the night. Take a stroll and some pictures, too.
