Celebrate at Pasko sa Intramuros in Manila
Pasko sa Intramuros is a month-long Christmas celebration held inside the historic walled city. Find festive decorations, lively music and stalls selling all sorts of local products. It’s all happening at Gen. Luna corner Postigo Streets in Intramuros, Manila
Come by on December 23, 8 p.m., and catch Dessa, along with X-Factor Philippines grand finalist Doc Eric & Band, perform Christmas hits. And, on December 26 (a national holiday!), there will be a marching band at 3 p.m., a magic show by Tito Cris at 6 p.m. and music showdown at 7 p.m. Pasko sa Intramuros lasts until the New Year so check out the whole line-up of activities and events here.
Join the festivities at the Maytinis Festival in Cavite
The Maytinis Festival is an anticipated annual Christmas tradition in Cavite. This year, the town is having a month-long celebration leading up to the big day, December 24! The main event is, of course, the Maytinis Procession, a parade re-telling of Mary and Joseph’s journey to find a place to rest on Christmas day, or “Panunuluyan” in Filipino. But, as it is a grand celebration, you can expect a lot more from the Kawiteños. Join the festivities at Kawit, Cavite! Disney On Ice is back in the Philippines, and this time stars of the show include Nemo, Elsa and Anna, Rapunzel, Woody, Simba, and more! Expect brand new stories from the bunch, all set on a stage of ice. Kids of all ages and kids-at-heart adults are all welcome. Pssst! Those 12 months old and below don't need tickets! Wonderful World of Disney on Ice runs from December 25 to January 4 at the Mall of Asia Arena. Ticket prices start at P190. Get them at SM Tickets booths or online.
One of the world’s well-loved characters, Hello Kitty, comes to Manila bringing along a whole gang of friends. Hello Kitty Live: Fashion & Friends follows ambitious young girl Hello Kitty as she takes on challenges to reach her dreams. By her side is her twin sister Mimmy, best friend My Melody and boyfriend Dear Daniel. The stage show is directed by Adam Stafford and features songs by Bruno Mars. Hello Kitty Live: Fashion & Friends runs from December 20 to January 1 at the Meralco Theater, Ortigas Center, Pasig City. Tickets prices start at P3,100. Get them at Ticketworld.
Masha and the Bear is a Russian animated tv series based on a local folklore about a mischievous but charming little girl named Masha and her bear friend who keeps her safe. Masha and the Bear: Happiness Chest will be a live show musical with the same characters and a fun story told with enthralling special effects. The show runs from December 23 to 31 at The Theatre at Solaire, Solaire Resort & Casino, Parañaque City. Ticket prices start at P800. Get them at Ticketworld.
Go to Star City
Metro Manila’s most popular amusement park is, of course, open on Christmas day! Star City opens its doors at 10 a.m. on December 25. While you’re there, catch Kutitap, Star City’s special Christmas presentation, at the Aliw Theater. Shows run at 4 p.m., 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. Star City is located at Vicente Sotto St., Manila. Just look for the tall blue tower with a star on top!
Have lunch and meet Santa at Sugar Factory
If you’re looking for a place to have lunch before Noche Buena, head to Sugar Factory! Not only will lunch be a special treat with their amazing sugary concoctions, Santa Claus is going to be there too! Catch him from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. on December 24 at Sugar Factory, Shangri-la at the Fort, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.
Greet Santa and watch a Christmas show at Greenhills
You can also squeeze in some last minute shopping before Christmas Eve festivities at Greenhills Shopping Center. Bring the kids as they’re having a Santa Meet and Greet too. Catch him on Dec. 22 to 24 at the V-Mall Lobby, Greenhills Shopping Center, San Juan City. While you’re there, don’t miss the Christmas on Display show at Parking 1B which plays every 30 minutes starting at 6 p.m until January 1 (except on December 25).

Don’t have a Christmas OOTD yet?
