  • It's a payday weekend! Make the most out of it and enjoy quality bonding time with the family. Do something fun, eat good food, shop and unwind. Need ideas? Here are several things happening this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday you should check out:

    What to do

Have a fun family day at PH's biggest Timezone

The biggest Timezone in the country is now open at Ayala Malls Feliz in Pasig. Aside from arcade games, of course, it now has a 500-square meter trampoline park

There are also rides, videoke rooms, a short-lane bowling alley, and a four-storey playground for kids. Ready for a day of fun?

Splash and play at the Giant Unicorn Island

Inflatable Island in Subic is Asia's biggest floating waterpark already, but it has something more for the kids (and kids-at-heart). It has opened the colorful and irresistably cute Giant Unicorn Island that features Baba's Super Slide, The Rainbow Walk, Slippery Slopes, the Floating Cinema and more.

    Recommended Videos

A height requirement of at least 3 feet is required for kids (and adults) looking to play and splash. Inflatable Island is at Samba Bluewater Resort (formerly Subic Half Moon Beach Resort), Olongapo, Zambales.

    Where to Eat

Lunch or dinner at Corner Market

This isn't your typical food hall! The Corner Market, at The Podium in Mandaluyong, is also the country's first-ever indoor farmer's market and features 17 different merchants. The interiors are picture-perfect too.

Go for food options like The Meat Depot where you can choose your own kind of seafood or cut of meat and have it cooked on the spot. For kids, there's Pizza Morena, Birdhouse for their chicken, and dessert options like Merry Moo and baked goodies from The Rabbit Hole. Read more about The Corner Market here.

    Merienda at Waffable

There's now a DIY waffle bar in town! The Waffable at UP Town Center lets its customers design their own waffle. Toppings include fresh fruits, nuts, chocolate, candy, syrups, and more.

The thick-cut waffle is served on a stick which makes them easier to munch on and have to-go. Merienda at the mall couldn't be sweeter with a scoop of ice cream drizzled with caramel on top of a waffle in hand. The kids are going to love it!

    Where to unwind

Spend Sunday at Art in the Park

At Art in the Park this Sunday, April 15, you'll stroll through the Jaime Velasquez Park in Makati City while looking at wonderful artworks from paintings and photographs to sculptures and pottery. Food, music, and drinks complement the experience too. Doesn't that sound lovely?

With a price cap on art works, you'll also be able to take home the ones you fancy at an affordable price.

For the kids, they've set up a Junior Art Center where children can immerse themselves in art activites including painting and crafts. Sound like a plan?

Watch an original student-made musical play

Catch the original musical play Still, I Am from the talented students of the Multiple Intelligence International School. Conceptualized, directed, written, and performed by the school kids, it also features original student compositions. It's happening this Saturday, April 14, 5 p.m., at the UP Main Theater in Diliman, Quezon City. Tickets are at Php500.

Still, I Am follows a student, Morgan, through his life from preschool to high school. He promises himself to be better in high school, wanting to distance himself from his problems at home. But when he gets to high school, things do not go according to plan.
