Make the weekend sweeter and head to Classic Confections to sample their latest holiday specials (because the Christmas season has begun in the Philippines!). Consider getting a slice of the S’mores Tart, a graham, marshmallow and chocolate delight, which the kids will enjoy or the Dulce de Leche which is crowd favorite. There’s also the Naked Red Velvet Cake with its rich cream cheese frosting, Meline’s Chocolate Cake, Chocolate Pecan Pie and the chef’s favorite Apple Pie. Find Classic Confections at Greenbelt 5, Makati and at Solenad 3, Nuvali, Sta. Rosa, Laguna.
If you're looking for something comforting, head to Zubuchon's newest branch in SM Megamall, Mandaluyong. Everyone's guaranteed to leave full! Of course, you have to try their Original Lechon -- no shortcuts, no artificial flavorings and delicious to the last bite. Pair it with Daing Rice. Then, order Baked Scallops and Crab Relleno on the side. End with Mais con Hielo and Guinomis shaved-ice desserts.
