1.    Run with your family or with your canine companion at the Good Housekeeping Family Run.

Tie your shoelaces and get ready to hit the pavement on April 3, Sunday, as Good Housekeeping holds its Family Fun Run at the Manila Ocean Park. Bring your furry friends and have them join the 1K run with obstacles. Other categories are the 100 meter dash for kids, the 3K run with obstacles (family run) and the 5K run, open to all.


2.    Catch the Candy Fashion Show for fashion must-haves and items.

Head to the SM Megamall Event Center, located at the lower ground floor, Bldg. A and see stylish apparel and other products modeled down the runway at the Candy Fashion Show this April 3, Sunday.

3.    Stock up on kiddie products at the Expo Kid 2011 Bazaar.

Check out over 40 exhibitors and vendors showcasing kid-friendly products at the Expo Kid bazaar at the Rockwell Tent this April 2, Saturday. Watch out for all-day talks and demonstrations, and other interactive activities.


4.    Tickle your palate and go on a food trip at the Best Food Forward! Food Fair.

Stimulate your tastebuds and sample culinary treats while helping charitable causes when you head to the NBC Tent in Bonifacio Global City this April 2 and 3 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Proceeds will go to helping the local food and drink industry. 5.    Enjoy music for a cause at the Jam for Japan event at the Ayala Museum.

In the wake of the recent tsunami and magnitude 9.0 earthquake that devastated Japan, musicians and artists such as The Company, The Late Isabel, Marie Digby, Blue Jean Junkies and more bring you a night of music to bring aid. Entrance fee is P500 and proceeds will go to The Japan Red Cross.


6.    Shop ‘til you drop at SM Mall of Asia’s Big! Big! Sale of Asia this April 1 to 3.

Get up to 70% off on selected items from participating stores during SM Mall of Asia, from 10 a.m. to 12 midnight on April 1 to 2 and from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on April 3.

7.    Enjoy an afternoon of tales at Museo Pambata’s Haraya Storytelling Hour.
Listen to classic favorites and well-loved Filipino children's stories, as told by our friends from Alitaptap Storytellers Philippines. Held every Saturday.

8.    Discover the wonders of the human body at the “Myth of the Human Body” exhibit in Taguig City.

See real bodies preserved via the process of plastination at the “Myth of the Human Body” exhibit, held at the Neobabylon Building at 9 Bayani Road, AFPOVAI in Taguig City. 9.    Go on an art appreciation afternoon by viewing the “On the subject of woman” exhibit at the Yuchengco Museum.

This exhibit running until April 20 showcases paintings from the Yuchengco Museum’s collections, featuring artworks from renowned artists such as Fernando Amorsolo, Cesar Legaspi and more. For inquiries, call (02)889-1234.


10.    Swim, slide and soak up the sun at Enchanted Kingdom’s Biki Waterworld.
