Switch off the lights for Earth Hour
Teach your child to care for our home and take part in this year’s Earth Hour. On March 25, from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m., iconic landmarks from all around the world will be switching-off their lights in participation. You can also do the same at home or join Earth Hour Philippines’ main switch-off event at the SM by the Bay, Mall of Asia Complex, from 7 to 10 p.m. on the same date. Aside from the program, there will also be interactive booths all about saving the planet.
Learn the difference between a traditional school from a Montessori and more
If your child is starting school soon, here's a workshop to consider attending. The Learning Basket has a couple of workshops lined up for parents this weekend. One is happening at The Parenting Emporium and the other you can participate in from home!
First up is Positive Discipling for Toddlers and Preschoolers this Saturday, March 25, 9 to 11:30 a.m. at The Parenting Emporium, 29 1st St., New Manila, Quezon City. The workshop aims to help parents find better methods of disciplining their children. It will discuss why children misbehave, why parents react the way they do to misbehavior and how parents can find long term solutions to usual boiling points.
